Boys Totem Town Community Conversation Collective (BTT-CCC) held a community feedback event and listened to your ideas and visions for the former Boys Totem Town site. [Read Report]
The event was on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 from 1 - 4 pm at Conway Community Center [Map] The only goal, was to hear the opinions and viewpoints of community members who would be impacted by this decision, to put that into a report, and to pass that report on to anyone at the city, county, and state levels who would find it valuable. The event was in three parts - each lasting about an hour:

Brief Background on BTT:
The 72 acre site was formerly Boys Totem Town, a juvenile detention center, and much of the landscape is a degraded Oak Savanna that has been left practically undisturbed. About 10 of the acres are the old buildings and former site of the baseball and soccer fields. It is just along the bluffs from historical Kaposia Village and just south of the sacred Dakota Burial Mounds and Wakan Tipi. A report has been written from the data collected; it is posted on this website, submitted to event and survey participants, as well as various individuals at the State, MetCouncil, City of St. Paul and Ramsey County.
